Originally from Rockford, Illinois Dr. Romanelli has over two decades of dental knowledge and expertise. She received her bachelor’s in biology from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy.
Dr. Romanelli and Dr. Esposito became fast friends after taking continuing education courses on implants and found a similarity of values when it came to the ethical and fair treatment of patients. Coincidentally, both did undergraduate studies at Loyola Chicago and dental school at UDM in Detroit!

Prior to joining Dental Excellence of Westmont, Dr. Romanelli owned and operated a highly successful multigenerational family dental practice where her uncompromising goal was to provide the very best dental care anywhere. She has earned respect among her colleagues as a highly accomplished general practitioner, family and cosmetic dentist who strives to continue to educate herself, clinical staff, and patients.
She prides herself on listening to her patients’ needs and answering questions for them. She understands that educating her patients and treating everyone how she would like to be treated is a critical aspect to her success and legacy. Having built her own successful practice, she now enjoys assisting other dentists to achieve the same success.
Dr. Romanelli lives in Naperville with her husband, Anthony. They both enjoy taking daily walks with the dog, cooking together, traveling, exploring new places and golfing.
